Maintenance Mode means that the Norton security software installed on Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 SP0 will continue to receive certain services, like malware definition updates, but that certain other services, like new product capabilities, will no longer be provided. It becomes progressively more difficult for software developers like us to provide new feature enhancements to unsupported operating systems. Unsupported versions of Windows no longer receive software updates from Microsoft that improve Windows stability and security.
